Mike Gill - Director of MJA
What’s your role and experience? I founded MJA in 2011 but was working in recruitment for many years beforehand for the sthree group. I now lead a team of consultants and am a director of global talent. In addition, I am the business manager but still working with my clients finding candidates.It is important for me to maintain long lasting relationships.
What do you love about it? I enjoy working with people on a daily basis, and most importantly when i place a person in a job, it gives me immense satisfaction. It is also very rewarding to see people respect our work.
What do you think your clients value about your work? We try to provide a good service and understand our clients culture, not just the job spec. We ensure that the candidates fit into that culture.
Where are you based? MJA are based in London, but we are in the process of opening new offices in New York and Germany.
What’s the favourite part of your job? Building long lasting relationships and placing people in their ideal jobs.
Any hobbies? Love sport – football / golf / cricket and enjoy good restaurants and gym in my spare time
