Contract Infrastructure/Integration Engineer – Azure, AD, M365, VMWare

Position Overview:

My client, an insurance organisation in The City of London is looking for a highly experienced Infrastructure Engineer.
This role is outside IR35 and for an initial 6 months period, it will be hybrid working.
Candidates should come from an insurance or Financial Services background.

Essential Skills:
· Demonstrate extensive experience working as a cloud/infrastructure engineer/senior engineer or in similar IT roles.
· Hands on experience of having performed Exchange migrations between organisations or M365 migrations between tenants.
· Hands on experience of having performed migrations of Windows Servers to Azure IaaS.
· Extensive experience working with multi-site and multi forest Active Directory environments, group policy and DNS.
· Extensive experience working with common Microsoft cloud technologies such as Azure, M365, Azure AD & Intune.
· Extensive experience working with Windows desktop, including all levels of troubleshooting.
· Extensive experience working with cloud, server, desktop, network and telephony providers.
· Good knowledge of networking – Layer2/3, dynamic routing, MPLS and firewall management.
· Good knowledge of IT security practices and the implementation of tools that provide MFA, DLP, proxy services, encryption, event logging and alerting.
· Able to provide input to, and technical solutions to business requirements.
· Worked within project delivery frameworks, able to demonstrate time management and labour estimating.
· Multi-lingual with at least one language being Spanish, Italian, German or French (fluent; read/write/spoken).
