Position Overview:
My client, an insurance organisation is looking for an HRIS Project Manager, to lead the end-to-end project management of the global HRIS implementation, including planning, organising and controlling all activities to ensure successful and timely delivery.
You must have experience of working on a number of different systems and be a strong hands on Project Manager, no need to be overly technical. But you should have experience working with Agile, Scrum methodology and have some Azure DevOps experience. My client is looking for a new HR and Finance system, so may look at one system ir two different systems, but the primary focus is on the HR system.
The role is outside IR35, for an initial 6 months and with a strong chance of renewal thereafter. It will be hybrid working with 2 days in the the office per week.
Key responsibilities include:
Collaborate with key stakeholders across HR, finance, and IT departments to gather and document system requirements including interface
Support the end to end project delivery from RFP/business case formation to delivery and adoption
Oversee the vendor selection process, including evaluating proposals, conducting demonstrations, and negotiating contracts in partnership with procurement
Manage relationships with vendors throughout the project lifecycle to ensure adherence to project scope, timeline, and budget
Develop, own and actively maintain project controls and governance including plans, status reporting, risks/issues and dependencies, escalating where appropriate
Develop and implement change management strategies to ensure a smooth transition to the new system.
