Lead Developer – Microsoft 365

Position Overview:

My client, an insurance organisation in London is looking for a M365 Development Lead.
Ideally you will come with a background of working in insurance or Financial Services.
Key Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
5+ years of experience in Microsoft 365 development and implementation
Experience leading and mentoring development teams
Strong technical background in Microsoft 365 platform and related technologies
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work effectively with stakeholders across the organization
Proven track record of delivering successful M365-based solutions
Familiarity with DevOps , DevSecOps Test Driven Development Release management and Agile methodologies , Branching Strategies , Version Control processes
Experience using and implementing Git, GitHub , Azure Devops Git repositories
Ability to evangelize Microsoft 365 technologies and the benefits of the platform to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
M365 platform and tools: Extensive knowledge of the M365 platform and its related tools, including SharePoint, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Teams, and the ability to design and implement custom solutions on the platform.
Solution architecture: The ability to design and implement scalable, secure, and reliable solutions that meet the needs of M365 users. This includes experience with solution architecture, application design, and cloud-based infrastructure.
Business process analysis: Experience in analysing business processes, identifying pain points, and recommending solutions that improve efficiency and productivity.
User experience design: A strong understanding of user-centred design principles, and the ability to design solutions that provide a positive user experience.
Technical expertise: A deep understanding of web development technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and REST APIs, and the ability to design and implement custom web parts, apps, and flows.
Experience with Scripting, Microsoft and Other Development Technologies ; C# , powershell ,java , PHP
Agile methodologies: Familiarity with Agile development methodologies, and the ability to lead development teams in Agile environments
