My client, an insurance organisation in The City of London, is looking for a Principal Business Analyst to join them. They offer a wonderful working arrangement to suit you, can be hybrid, flexible hours or condensed hours.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a greenfield project, to work with scoping and delivering new insurance products and systems.

You must have a strong insurance background, preferably a combination of London Market, LLoyd’s Market and General Insurance and ideally some insurance qualifications such as CII

Key skills include:

• Extensive experience/expertise in business analysis and change management, leading on large organisational wide change initiatives.
• Extensive experience/expertise in insurance, including the delivery of projects and products, as well as insurance processes, systems, and controls.
• Specialism experience in business analysis of Underwriting, Claims, Pricing, Distribution and Policy Administration
• Lloyd’s / London market experience and understanding of the oversight and regulatory approach of Lloyd’s / FCA.
• Currently holds a business analysis qualification and preferably an insurance related qualification too (CII qualification preferable).
• Extensive knowledge of business analysis methods and tools.
• Experience of using different change methodologies such as SAFe, Agile, Scrum, Kanban and Waterfall
• Strong commercial awareness in particular of the insurance market, especially focused on Loss and Expense management
• Exhibit’s a growth mindset and lean thinking, including understanding of Blueprint 2 and other strategic initiatives at Lloyd’s and the Insurance industry generally
