My client, an insurance organisation in The City of London, is looking for a Contract Technical Business Analyst to work on a variety of projects to the end of the year.

This is an amazing opportunity for someone from a non-insurance background to work for an insurance organisation.

It will be hybrid working with a minimum of 2 days in the office per week and the role is for a 6-month duration, which will be inside IR35.

Must have:

• Good solid IT understanding and technical background.
• Good understanding of Azure Cloud, their whole datacentre was moved to cloud last year. Must be able to analyse systems in the cloud, rationalise systems in the cloud.
• Must understand and be aware all the product offerings in Azure Cloud, the concepts, work out where they are and where they want to be.
• SQL – SQL databases and SQL for querying.
• Understand upgrades, 1 project will be to work on upgrade of Windows 2012 to 2022.
• Liaise with third parties and third-party vendors.
• Support the upgrade path, customers using the applications, business applications used, change freezes etc
• Work with Product Owners, what changes will impact and deliver the projects.
• Testing – must be able to co-ordinate all the UAT, track defects, could also be IT Testing, Customer Experience Testing, TP Installations Testing, Production use.
• Must be a team player.
• Documentation – must be a able to strongly document supporting documents which will be handed over to BAU. Must have strong attention to detail.

Nice to have, but not deal breakers:

• Experience of disaster recovery.
• PowerShell.
• Agile, running Kanban.
